Getting rid of toxins in the body is key toward shedding unwanted pounds and having more energy and clarity.

The first thing people ask me about detoxing is, “Do I have to give up coffee?” I love coffee too! It’s like a miracle drug. It’s a comforting morning ritual and it helps us get stuff done!

But, once in a while our bodies need a break.

So I created a delicious, health promoting Green Tea Latte recipe (below) that provides you with clarity and zip while burning fat. I want to share this with you because detoxing changed my life.

What if your new morning ritual actually improved your health?

Green tea is loaded with polyphenols which fight free radicals – and we know free radicals = premature aging and disease. Green tea helps support the liver to detoxify while providing you with enough caffeine to get you going, but it won’t whip your adrenals into exhaustion like coffee can.

Brew 1 cup of loose leaf green tea. (fill it only 2/3 full – you need to leave
room for the cashew cream).Let steep for 5 minutes while you make the Matcha cashew cream.
Matcha cashew cream in blender:
1/3 cup hot water
1/4c raw cashews
1/4 Ts. Cinnamon
1 Tb. Maple Syrup (or agave, or coconut crystals)
1 Ts. Matcha Green Tea powder

Blend cashew cream in blender until creamy and pour into brewed tea.

Stir and Enjoy!
