Short answer – That would be great. Coffee is a diuretic and it’s tough on the adrenals. It’s also addictive, so if you can stop, you’ll give your body a much-needed rest from this stimulant. With that said, you will most likely have a headache if you stop cold turkey.

Headache is thought to be a withdrawal symptom because caffeine narrows the blood vessels that surround your brain. When you stop drinking it, the blood vessels expand and it puts pressure on your head.

I suggest cutting down on caffeine drastically by switching to green tea, then it’s likely you won’t get a headache, and you get all the benefit of green tea.
