With that said, you will most likely have a headache if you stop cold turkey. Headache is thought to be a withdrawal symptom because caffeine narrows the blood vessels that surround your brain and when you stop drinking it, the blood vessels expand and it puts pressure on your head. I suggest cutting down on caffeine drastically by switching to green tea, then it’s likely you won’t get a headache, and you get all the beneﬁt of green tea.
